Rendy Saputra
Position: Senior Investigative Journalist and Editor-in-Chief
Bio: Rendy Saputra is a seasoned investigative journalist with over 15 years of experience in uncovering the truth and holding power to account. He has worked for some of the most respected news organizations in the world, including The New York Times, The Guardian, and Reuters.
Rendy’s investigative work has exposed corruption, human rights abuses, and environmental crimes, leading to significant legal and policy changes. He is a recipient of numerous journalism awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting and the George Polk Award.
As the Editor-in-Chief of Occhy Media, Rendy is responsible for overseeing the editorial direction of the publication, ensuring that our journalism is of the highest standards. He is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and innovation at Occhy Media.
Rendy holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Indonesia. He is also a visiting lecturer at several universities, where he teaches investigative journalism and media ethics.
